Pump control
Smart pump control that saves energy and money – here’s how to optimize your operations!
We have developed a new generation of high-quality pump control featuring a unique system without mechanical float switches or electronics. SPS pump control is designed for all types of pump wells and pump stations.
Start/stop/alarm functions are managed by a control hose that detects the liquid level in the well. SPS pump control is pre-configured upon delivery for quick and easy installation. Start/stop and alarm levels can also be easily adjusted afterwards if needed. It can be seamlessly installed in existing pump wells and replaces all other pump control equipment.
The control system requires no maintenance, making it an obvious and reliable choice for installation. SPS pump control is not only maintenance-free, but also extremely straightforward. All that is required is a control hose running down to the bottom of the well and a power supply to the pump—the rest is managed by the SPS control system.
The system handles everything from small, simple pump wells to large dual-pump stations. Connectivity to the SPS SmartControl platform is available for all models, where you can monitor total operating time, capacity in %, and the alarm log.
A decisive advantage is that no electronics are installed down in the well. The harsh environment—characterized by moisture, gases, and corrosive substances—does not affect sensitive components, significantly reducing the risk of electrical faults and extending the system’s service life. At the same time, both installation and servicing are simplified.
The result is a reliable, robust, and long-term cost-effective control system that ensures safer pump operation and reduces the need for emergency interventions.”

Why choose the SPS technique?
- The simplest installation on the market – Can be installed in both new and existing pump pits.
- Minimal installation requirements – Only an air hose from the control cabinet to the bottom of the pit and a power supply are needed.
- Plug-and-play installation – The control cabinet is preconfigured at delivery with settings tailored to the specific pump application.
- Space-saving design – Requires minimal space, making it ideal for confined installations.
- Remote control (OTA connected) – Settings can be adjusted on-site via our service interface or remotely. No on-site visits required.
- Monitoring – Integrated monitoring provides real-time and historical data on operation, alarms, and system status via our web interface.
- SCADA integration – Compatible with existing monitoring and control systems.
- Maintenance-free operation – The air hose in the pit is self-cleaning and requires no maintenance. With real-time data and alarms available, the need for service visits is significantly reduced.
- Improved working environment – Service and system adjustments no longer need to be performed in the hazardous environment of the pump pit.
- Energy-efficient operation – The system triggers an alarm if the liquid level does not decrease during pumping. Features such as automatic restart attempts, alternating pump operation, and overload protection ensure reliable and energy-efficient performance.
- Lower costs – Competitive pricing. Fast and simple installation without complex configuration. No floats, sensors, or level transmitters required. Integrated connectivity included.
- Capacity analysis – The system displays pump capacity in pumping stations through graphical data, enabling analysis of inflow, infiltration, and system performance.
- Wide range of applications – Suitable for wastewater, stormwater, agricultural tanks, fuel, chemicals, corrosive liquids, and more.
- Application – SPS SmartControl, you can monitor alarms, analyze flood risk areas, detect combined sewer overflows, identify stormwater infiltration into the wastewater system, and access operational data for maintenance—in real time.

Our pneumatic pump control system represents the next step in reliable and intelligent level regulation. Thanks to our patented technology, we offer a solution that combines robust performance with modern digital monitoring.
Digital monitoring reduces the need for physical site visits, resulting in significant cost savings and a clear climate benefit. The result is a smarter, safer, and more sustainable pump control system.
The solution integrates seamlessly with other SCADA systems, and installation is simple and flexible. Even in existing pump stations, old equipment can be smoothly replaced with our control system.
Our solution actively contributes to Agenda 2030 by reducing the risk of combined sewer overflows, thereby protecting lakes and waterways from contaminated wastewater.
